About Us

My name is Tom Berman. I grew up in Indianapolis and graduated from Indiana University with a BA in Political Science and History. As well as Indianapolis, I have lived in Albuquerque, NM, Atlanta and Chicago. After marrying my wife Mindy, we settled in Mequon 21 years ago. For over 25 years, I was with Primerica Financial Services in different areas of responsibility. Mindy was a dental assistant for over 20 years and has also volunteered at Family Sharing of Ozaukee County. Mindy currently works in the cafeteria at Lake Shore Middle School. We have two children, Jack and Emma who both attend Homestead High School. Hobbies I enjoy are golf, albeit not very well, traveling and being a history buff.

Our family are strong proponents of the upcoming November referendum. Jack and Emma have different educational paths but the district has always met their needs. Passing the referendum will not only continue to sustain our great school district but allow it to grow to even bigger heights. Both Mindy and I believe in creating an educational environment where kids, teachers, administrators can thrive which leads to a strong and vibrant community.
